Yes. IHOLICS provides on the spot health fund claiming at our practice. Direct claiming is available for all Australian private health insurance providers.
Are eye examinations bulk billed?
Yes. For Medicare card holders, all standard eye examinations conducted at IHOLICS are bulk billed. Please note that additional tests may incur extra fees, including OCT scans, contact lens training, and trial lens fitting assessments.

What is the cost of an eye examination without Medicare?
For patients without Medicare, a comprehensive eye examination is priced at $76.

How long does it take to receive my glasses after ordering?
The average turnaround time for glasses is approximately 14 business days.
Please note that lens manufacturing times may vary depending on the lens supplier, and delays can occasionally occur. In such cases, we will notify you separately with updated information.
Most orders are completed sooner, and once quality inspection is finalised, you will be notified by SMS or email when your glasses are ready for collection.
Do I need to book an appointment for a LINDBERG consultation?
LINDBERG frames offer extensive customisation options including eye rim, bridge, temple length, and colour selection.
During a LINDBERG consultation, you will receive expert styling advice, precise frame adjustment, 3D measurement, and personalised lens consultation from our optical specialists.
The consultation typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, and we strongly recommend booking in advance to ensure a focused and in depth experience.
