Role Description
This is a part-time or casual, on-site role for an Optical Dispenser, Optician, or Optical Assistant at IHOLICS OPTICIAN & OPTOMETRIST in Calamvale, QLD. The Optician will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, dispensing eyewear, providing tailored optics solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, they will deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient needs, fitting lenses, and adjusting frames for a comfortable and precise fit.
Qualifications
- Optics or Optometry degree (Equivalent to over a Diploma from Korea, China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan) or Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing (Australia)
- Preferred: At least 2 years of work experience in an optical store or as an optometrist in Australia
- Confidence in frame adjustment
- Preferred: Product knowledge of HOYA and ZEISS lenses
- Strong customer satisfaction focus and professional customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and your native language
