Always start by washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Dry them with a lint-free towel to avoid transferring dirt or germs to your eyes.
Prepare Your Contacts
Open the contact lens case and remove the lens. Always start with the same eye to avoid mix-ups. Ensure the lens is clean and free from any tears.
Check the Lens Orientation
Place the lens on your fingertip and check if it forms a bowl shape. If the edges flare out, it is inside out. The correct shape will have smooth edges curving slightly upward.
Insert the Lens
Hold your upper eyelid with one hand to prevent blinking. With the other hand, gently pull down your lower eyelid. Look up and place the lens on the lower part of your eye. Slowly close your eye to let the lens settle into place.
Blink and Adjust
After inserting both lenses, blink several times to help them settle comfortably. If they feel uncomfortable, check for any debris or if they are correctly positioned.
